Import contacts from Recipients or the Glide-contact step in Send. Saved contacts are available to your Glide account on web and mobile.

Import from Recipients

Choose Import contacts to save the permitted phone contacts on mobile or the chosen Google CSV on web. The toolbar explains what will be saved. Use Choose contacts individually if you want to preview and select entries first. The import flow in Send uses a selection preview. Review the contacts and choose which ones to save.

Connect Google Contacts

Where the connection is available, Google asks for permission to read contact names, email addresses and phone numbers. It does not request access to your Gmail inbox. Glide receives the contacts you choose to save. On mobile, Google import opens the web flow. Sign in with the same Glide account, complete the import, then return to the app and refresh the recipient list if needed.

After import

Search by name, email, phone or Glide tag. Imports normalize identifiers and skip duplicates. Alternate emails and phone numbers remain separately selectable. Include a country code when using a phone number for a payment. Importing contacts does not send invitations, messages or payments, and does not create bank recipients. A contact marked On Glide still goes through recipient checks when you pay.
You can type an email or phone number and continue in Send without a saved contact. Unknown accounts fail before funding. See Send money.

Privacy

Phone contacts are read only after you choose that import source and grant permission. Cancelling a picker or denying permission does not save contacts. See Data and privacy.
